Our oncology services
We are dedicated to providing care throughout diagnosis, staging, treatment and recovery.
Cancer diagnostics
The earlier your cancer is detected, the better. Our diagnostic imaging services allow our physicians and surgeons to get the information they need to build you a comprehensive treatment plan. As a designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, we often use low-dose computerized tomography (LDCT) scans to help detect lung cancer early, when it’s most treatable.
Inpatient cancer care
If you need inpatient cancer care, you will have will receive most services in our Murphy Unit. In this specialized unit, we provide medical and surgical care, as well as most forms of cancer treatment, pain management and palliative care.
Infusion therapy
Infusion therapy is a critical component of cancer care. We can provide you with intravenous, injection or epidural medications when oral treatments are not sufficient. This therapy is often used for cancer treatment, managing dehydration and addressing gastrointestinal disorders. Our infusion center takes a holistic approach that includes access to:
- Art
- Massage
- Mindfulness education
- Music
- Nutrition classes
- Yoga
Interventional oncology
Our radiology department’s interventional oncology program features several leading-edge services. We proudly take a minimally invasive approach to cancer treatment whenever possible, and offer procedures such as:
- Kyphoplasty
- Microwave ablation
- Yittrium-90 (Y-90) for treatment of liver tumors
Surgical care
We are the first hospital in the region to use an advanced robot-assisted surgical system, for cancer treatment. Robot-assisted surgery can be used to treat a variety of cancers and can potentially offer you a faster recovery time and a shorter hospital stay.
